What we're building, in rough order. No dates, just direction.
SimpleOTAClient v0.5.0 is live: polling, download, SHA-256 checks and signed updates when enabled, reboot, and automatic trial-install rollback, all handled in a few lines of code. The first-party ESP-IDF component v0.2.0 brings the same managed loop, signing, and bootloader-supervised rollback to ESP-IDF projects.
Signed updates when enabled: sign builds with a project key you control, and devices with your public key pinned accept only images that key signed. Read the guide.
